Shingai is my Shona name and it means "Be Brave and Of Good Courage". This name has become the anthem of my life. I try to live a life that is balanced between the silly and the serious, though both require courage. My life is not an open book but what I do choose to share are small steps on my journey toward bravery.
I have been playing around with MySpace but I am finding that it seems to be more of a "hook up" spot than a place to stay in touch with friends. I want people to be able to read my blog when I have updated it. I have written to the Blogger folks to find out if this is a feature that they offer. I also want to start putting up photos if I could just figure out how!!!!!

I am pretty down to earth these days. Trying not to become a cynical person but realistic. I am pretty much at peace with myself.
